Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G has been announced with 5G connectivity and Adreno 619 GPU. The company claims that the 750G SoC comes with 20℅ more CPU performance and 10% more graphics performance in the comparison of 730G. The Chipset is specially made for targeting the mid-range smartphone market.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G Specifications
According to Qualcomm microsite, Snapdragon 750G is an octa-core chipset that is based on the 8nm manufacturing process. It features the Kryo 570 CPU cores based on ARM Cortex A77 due to which it can perform 20% faster than Snapdragon 730G.
For cellular connectivity, Snapdragon 750G comes with an integrated Snapdragon X52 modem for global 5G connectivity on both mmWave and sub-6GHz spectrums. The chipset also supports TDD, FDD, and Dynamic Spectrum Sharing for 5G networks, along with global-roaming and global multi-SIM support.
In terms of display, the chipset can support up to QHD+ resolution panel with the standard 60Hz refresh rate or Full HD+ resolution panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has the support of 10-bit depth color and HDR10+. Coming to optics, The chipset supports a single camera up to 192-megapixel and dual camera configuration up to 32-Megapixel. It can capture the slow-motion video recording up to 720p at 240 FPS.
For Graphics, the chipset is equipped with Adreno 619 GPU that provides 10% more graphics processing. The chipset can support up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and capable of going up to 2.2GHz clock speed. The support of Quick Charge 4+ is also available in the chipset. It offering peak download speed up to 3.7 Gbps (5G), 1.2 Gbps (LTE) and upload speed up to up to 1.6 Gbps (5G), 210 Mbps (LTE). The 5th generation Qualcomm AI engine is able to perform 4 trillion operations per second (4 TOPS). It works in tandem with the Qualcomm Sensing Hub to introduce real-time echo cancellation and background noise suppression for calls, gaming, and conversations with voice assistants.
Additionally, It also includes the support of Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6-ready, NFC, Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS, Dual-frequency GNSS, NavIC, GPS, GNSS, QZSS, SBAS, NFC, USB 3.1, and USB-C.
Quanxin Wang, general manager of product and technology, Xiaomi International said “We are proud to work with Qualcomm Technologies to launch the first commercial smartphone based on the latest Snapdragon 750G to consumers. So, It is confirmed that the Xiaomi will introduce the first smartphone with Snapdragon 750G SoC.
