Umidigi A9 Pro has been announced with Mediatek Helio P60 SoC and Quad rear camera setup. It is the successor of UMIDIGI A7 Pro that launched a few months back. Umidigi A9 Pro is said to be a pro in camera because It has a Sony sensor on both the rear and front camera setup. The device runs on Android 10 out of the box and comes in two color options – Forest Green and Onyx Black.

Umidigi A9 Pro features a 6.3-inch 19.5:9 FHD+ (1080×2340 pixels) display with 2.5D glass and a water-drop notch design. Under the hood, It is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio P60 chipset, Mali G72 MP3 GPU, and coupled with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 of storage. It also has a microSD card slot for the expansion of storage. Coming to optics, It is equipped with a Quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-Megapixel (Primary) camera with an aperture of f/1.79 + 16-Megapixel (Ultrawide) sensor with a 120° field of view + 5-Megapixel (Depth) sensor + 5-Megapixel (Macro) camera.
For selfie, It comes with a 24-Megapixel selfie shooter. The smartphone packs a 4,150mah battery backup. For connectivity, It includes the support of 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, USB-C, and more. In terms of sensor, The smartphone has an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device measures 158.7×74.9×8.6mm thickness and 213g weight.
Additionally, the smartphone also has a non-contact infrared thermometer which is capable of measuring body temperature. Users need to press a dedicated button that is present on the left side to activate this feature.
Umidigi A9 Pro Price
The base variant of Umidgi A9 Pro is priced at 119 USD (around Rs.9,000) for the 4GB+64GB storage whereas the high-end variant of 6GB+128GB of storage costs 139USD (around Rs.11,000). Currently, It will be available on AliExpress starting from October 16th.
