Samsung Galaxy A42 5G is previously stated as the cheapest 5G upcoming smartphone from Samsung. Samsung already announced the phone but hasn’t revealed any specifications and price details. But now the phone is listed on the company’s website showcasing its color.
In the above renders the Galaxy A42 5G can be seen in black, white and grey colors with a unique card design. The smartphone is equipped with a quad rear camera in a square module and has a water-drop notch style display.

Samsung Galaxy A42 5G features a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. According to some previous reports, the smartphone will power Qualcomm Snapdragon 690G but after the launch of Snapdragon 750G in September some leaks suggest that the device will sport Snapdragon 750G SoC coupled with Adreno 619 GPU.
In terms of Camera, the smartphone boasts a quad rear camera that includes 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the phone comes with a 20-megapixel front shooter. The device is packed with a 5000mah battery and may support 18W fast charging.
The company hasn’t shared any information regarding the price and availability of the smartphone currently. But according to rumors, the phone will hit the market in October but the exact date is not known.
