Royale FlexPai 2 Foldable Phone has been launched with Snapdragon 865 SoC and Quad rear camera setup. It is the successor Royale FlexPai which was debuted back in 2019. The company claims that they have decreased the overall thickness of the phone up to 40% as compared to the previous model and also improved the Display Quality. Royale FlexPai 2 runs on waterOS 2.0, based on Android 10 out of the box and comes in three colors options – Sunrise Gold, Midnight Black, and Cosmic Gray.

The company has used 3rd Generation Cicada Wing flexible OLED display with Stepless 3S Hinge (180°) on the FlexPai 2 which means it can be folded flat with a zero-gap. It features the 7.8-inch FHD+ (1920 x 1,440 pixels) resolution unfolded display with 4:3 aspect ratio. On the other hand, When folded, the main display becomes a 5.5-inch 16:9 HD+ (1,440 x 900 pixels) screen, while the secondary display becomes a 5.4-inch (1,440 x 810 pixels) 16:10 HD+ screen. Under the hood, It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, Adreno 650 GPU, and, coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB internal storage.
In terms of camera, the foldable smartphone comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64 MP (primary) camera with f/1.9 aperture + 16MP (Ultra-wide) sensor with a 116° field of view + 8MP (telephoto) sensor + 32MP sensor dedicated for selfies. Royale FlexPai 2 packs a 4,450mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. For connectivity, it has dual-mode (SA/NSA) 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS), USB 3.1. In terms of sensor, It includes the support of an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, compass, and barometer, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Royole Flexpai 2 Price
The base variant of Royole FlexPai 2 carries a price tag of 9,988 yuan ( around Rs.1,09,000) for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage whereas the high end variant of 12GB RAM + 512GB storage costs 11,588 yuan (around Rs.1,26,000). It is currently up for pre-order on Jingdong (JD) and will go on sale starting 10 AM on September 25. The company has not made any official statements on its international availability.
