Nubia Red Magic 5s will be the successor of Nubia Red Magic 5G that was unveiled in March this year. Nubia President Ni Fei shared the post about the Red Magic 5S on Weibo with a tip “Beyond Plus.” The Plus here indirectly indicates towards the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC that was launched earlier in July.

Nubia Red Magic 5s Specifications


Nubia Red Magic 5s may have the same specifications as Nubia Red Magic 5G instead of the processor only. Red Magic 5s features a 6.65 inches AMOLED Display with a 144Hz fast refresh rate and has a resolution of FHD+ ( 1080 X 2340). The smartphone is powered with Snapdragon 865+ octa-core chipset with Adreno 650 GPU.

The phone will boast a triple rear camera including a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The smartphone may not include a telephoto lens as in Red Magic 5G. The device will be equipped with a 4500mah battery and may support 55W fast charging.


Nubia Red Magic 5s Price and Availability


Nubia Red Magic 5s will be priced at 42,999 for the base variant 8GB + 128GB. This phone might have three storage options more 128GB + 12GB RAM, 256GB + 12GB RAM, and 256GB + 16GB RAM. Other upcoming gaming smartphones like the Asus ROG Phone 3 and Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone are said to be powered by the new Qualcomm 865+ processor. Nubia is yet to announce the launch date of Nubia Red Magic 5S but it is expected to launch in August end.
