Infinix Note 8 & Note 8i launched with Mediatek Helio G80: Price, Specifications

Infinix Note 8 & Note 8i have been announced with Mediatek Helio G80 SoC and Quad rear camera setup. The Chinese tech company has also provided DTS Audio processing in both the devices for an enhanced audio experience. Infinix Note 8 & Note 8i runs on XOS 7.1, based on Android 10 out of the box, and will debut in three color options – Ice Diamond, Obsidian Black, and Tranquil Blue colors.

Infinix Note 8 Specification

Infinix Note 8 features a 6.95-inch 20.5:9 IPS LCD HD+ (720×1,640 pixels) resolution display with 480 nits of peak brightness and a dual punch-hole design for the selfie cameras. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, and paired with 6GB of RAM + 128GB of storage. The smartphone also has a dedicated microSD card slot for the expansion of storage.

Coming to optics, It is equipped with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor and with an autofocus lens + 2-megapixel macro shooter + 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an AI lens. Infinix Note 8i comes with a 6.78-inch 20.5:9 IPS LCD HD+ (720×1,640 pixels) resolution display. For performance, It is also powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, and paired with 6GB of RAM. In terms of camera, The smartphone has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor + 2-megapixel macro shooter + 2-megapixel depth sensor + AI lens. The Note 8i equips a single 8-megapixel camera selfie shooter at the front, along with a dual-LED flash.

For connectivity, The smartphone includes the support of dual sim slot 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of Sensors, the smartphone comes with an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. There is no confirmation about the pricing details of the infinix 8 and 8i but it is speculated that the smartphone will be available at $200 (around Rs. 14,700).
