Lexus India is one of the premium car sellers in the Indian market. For a long time, speculations were rife that the company might launch a new model. Lexus made that speculation come true. They have launched a new multipurpose vehicle in this country. Named – LM 350h MPV. It is beyond the reach of common middle class people. Why listen? Launched in two versions, the model is priced at Rs 2 crore and Rs 2.5 crore (ex-showroom).
The Lexus LM 350h MPV has been launched
The Lexus LM 350h MPV can be chosen with four and seven seats. Bookings for the car have already started in India. The cabin of this sky-high priced car will have the same comfort as a first class aircraft. For information, Toyota Vellfire engine is used in this Nexus car. Its market price is Rs 1.2 crore (ex-showroom).
Both the above vehicles are based on the GA-K modular platform. But the Lexus model is more sophisticated in terms of futuristic styling. The front center features large spindle grille, sharp style LED headlamps and vertically stacked fog lamps. The rear has a full LED tail light and boxy design.
Notable features include a 23-speaker surround sound system, pillow-style headrests, a refrigerator, and a 48-inch television in the Lexus LM 350h. There are also fold-out tables, heated armrests, USB ports, wireless phone chargers, reading lights, vanity mirrors and an umbrella holder.
The Lexus LM 350h will run on a 2.5 liter four cylinder petrol hybrid engine. It will produce a maximum power of 246 bhp and 239 Nm of torque. Mated to the motor is an eCVT automatic transmission. It comes with a nickel metal hybrid battery. Power will be transmitted to all four wheels.
Being a premium car, the Lexus LM 350h features a flat ride adaptive suspension, temperature-controlled heating, noise reduction tires, active noise control and a digital rear view mirror. It offers third level ADAS. The car rivals in the market – Range Rover, Mercedes-Maybach GLS, Bentley Bentayga.
