SHARP AQUOS R6 has been launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and 5000mAh Battery in Japan. The Japanese tech company added a new flasgship device to its SHARP AQUOS R series portfolio. The AQUOS R6 runs on Android 11 OS out of the box and comes in two color options – Black & white.

SHARP AQUOS R6 features a 6.6 inches Pro IGZO OLED WUXGA+ (2730 x 1260 pixels) resolution display, 240Hz refresh rate with a centered positioned punch-hole cutout. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset, Adreno 660 GPU, and coupled with 12GB RAM + 128GB expandable storage. In terms of camera, the smartphone is equipped with a 20.2-Megapixel (primary) camera with an aperture of f/1.9 + TOF. On the front, there is a 12.6-Megapixel selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.3. The additional camera feature includes 8k video recording, bokeh mode, slow motion, night mode, HDR recording, timelapse, and more.
SHARP AQUOS R6 is equipped with a 5000mah battery and comes with IP6X water resistance. In terms of camera, The handset has a 5G, 4G, Micro-SD card slot, Wi-fi, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The sensor onboard includes an accelerometer, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and an in-display Ultrasonic fingerprint reader (Dual Fingerprint Authentication at the same time). Lastly, The device measures 74 x 162 x 9.5 mm thickness and weighs 207g.

The company has not revealed the pricing of the SHARP AQUOS R6 yet but Currently, The pre-registration of the device will be starting from 18th May in Japan.
However, there is no information about the International availability of the device yet.
