In the midst of various ideas about Starlink in India, SpaceX, the country's second largest telecom company Airtel, has been in agreement with the country. Starlink is joining the joint venture with the aim of providing satellite -based Internet services across the country. It is reported that Starlink equipment can be found in Airtel retail stores under the contract.

According to Airtel's statement, the aim of this joint venture is to explore how Starlinks can improve and expand Airtel services, as well as to supplement Airtel's skills in the Indian market as a direct customer and business services of SpaceX.
As part of this agreement, the equipment needed to use Starlink will be available at Airtel retail stores and business clients to provide Sterling Services to Airtel. The goal of the two companies is to connect the communities, schools and health centers located in India's most isolated rural regions.
According to the statement, Starlink can help improve and expand Airtel network in the country. In addition, SpaceX will be allowed to use Airtel's ground network infrastructure and other resources in India.
