Samsung Pro Plus and Evo Plus SD Cards announced have been announced. The South Korean tech giant specially designed these high-performance SD cards for content creators, photo enthusiasts, and general consumers.

Samsung Pro Plus SD cards offer read and write speeds of up to 100MBps and 90MBps whereas Evo Plus SD card delivers transfer speeds up to 100MBps. Both of the SD cards come with water-proof, temperature-proof, x-ray-proof, magnet-proof, shock-proof, drop-proof, and wear out-proof protection. The company claims that the cards can withstand drops of up to five metres as well as up to 10,000 swipes. Additionally, They have a 10-year limited warranty.
The Pro Plus SD card allows the user to record a video up to 4K UHD resolution and capture the burst shots. The South Korean tech company tries to make an ideal product for professional photographers, cinematographers, and YouTubers. The Evo Plus also promises smooth playback even while editing 4K videos. Both the SD cards have a UHS-I interface and a class 10 rating as well. Samsung Pro Plus and Evo Plus SD Cards can be supported by a wide range of devices including DSLR cameras, mirrorless, and compact cameras, camcorders, and PCs.
However, The company hasn’t confirmed any pricing details but according to the report by Engadget, the 32GB Evo Plus will be available at a price tag of $7 (around Rs. 513) and the 256GB model costs $40 (roughly Rs. 2,931). Moving to Pro Plus, The 32GB variant will be available for $10 (available Rs. 733) and $50 (around Rs. 3,665) for the 256GB variant.
