Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 was unveiled in India as the new budget tablet from the South Korean Tech Giant. Although, the Tab A8 was already announced in Netherlands, U.K, and U.S back in December 2021. The tablet comes with a Unisoc octa-core chipset, solo rear camera, big display, and more.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 features a 10.5 inches TFT display with Full-HD+ ( 1200 x 1920 pixels ) resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the tablet is powered with a Unisoc Tiger T618 octa-core chipset that comes paired with Mali G52 MP2 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. In terms of connectivity, the Tab A8 includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, USB 2.0 Type-C port, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Galaxy Tab A8 is 6.9mm thick and weighs 500 grams. The device is backed by a 7,040mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging but the company bundled a 7.5W charger in the box. The Tab A8 is running on Android 11 out of the box with One UI 3.1 skin on top. Additionally, the gadget supports split-screen multitasking, floating windows, and comes with quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 comes in four variants:
- 3GB + 32GB Wi-Fi variant priced at Rs. 17,999.
- 3GB + 32GB LTE variant priced at Rs. 21,999.
- 4GB + 64GB Wi-Fi model priced at Rs. 19,999.
- 4GB + 64Gb LTE model priced at Rs. 23,999.
The tablet is offered in three color options namely Pink, Grey, and Silver. The tablet will go for sale on January 17 at 12 p.m via Amazon, Flipkart, and Samsung’s online store in India.
