Samsung Galaxy A53 spotted on Geekbench
As per the Geekbench listing, a Samsung smartphone with model number SM-A536U ( rumored to come as Galaxy A53) will come powered with an octa-core chipset with Arm cores including 2 x performance cores clocked at 2.40Ghz and 6 x efficiency cores clocked at 2.00Ghz. The listing also hinted motherboard as an “s5e8825” model number which hinted at the presence of the Exynos chipset.
The source code of the device suggested the presence of Mali G68 GPU so there might be a Samsung Exynos 1200 chipset that comes coupled with this GPU. The smartphone will come running on Android 12 out of the box with One UI skin on top. The phone is listed in the 6GB RAM variant and may come in other RAM variants as well.
The CAD renders of the Galaxy A53 already appeared last month that hinted at the design and some key specs. The phone will feature 6.5 inches Full-HD+ resolution punch-hole display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate. The phone will sport a 64MP quad rear camera, 5000mah battery, IP67 water resistance, and more. The phone is expected to arrive soon as some reports suggest that its production is started in India.
