Royal Enfield is going to bring a new 450 cc motorcycle after Shotgun 650. That's right, it's called the Guerrilla 450. In fact, there is no one left to know that it is coming as the company's next model. July 17 has been announced as the launch date. Siddharth Lal, MD of Eisher Motors, the company that owns Royal Enfield, posted a picture of himself riding the Guerrilla 450 on his Instagram handle. Which has created an uproar among bike lovers.

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is based on the platform of the Himalayan 450. Like the Himalayan it also uses the Sherpa 450 engine. It produces 39 bhp of power at 8000 rpm and 40 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. The Royal Enfield Gorilla 450 is expected to be a more compact model. The Himalayan has a lower seat height, shorter suspension travel and lower ground clearance.
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has been spotted testing several times on Indian roads. Based on the Himalayan 450, there will be quite a few differences. Both sides have 17-inch wheels, shod with tubeless street-oriented tires. The suspension setup differs between the two bikes. The Gorilla features a telescopic front fork. Where the Himalayan features a Showa upside down front fork with long travel.
Talking about the price, the Himalayan 450 is currently priced at Rs 2.85 lakh (ex-showroom). Depending on the variant and color that goes up to Rs 3 lakh. The price of Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 can be relatively cheap. It is expected to be priced between Rs 2.40-2.60 lakh (ex-showroom). However, it is possible to tell the price after the launch on July 17.
