Royal Enfield push! Hero, Bajaj are launching rugged bikes in the country in collaboration with US-British companies

Royal Enfield has made its debut as one and only in the premium motorcycle world of India. They have one market shaking model after another in the 350-500 cc segment. For example – Classic 350, Bullet 350, Meteor 350, Hunter 350 and Himalayan 400. Companies like Hero MotoCorp (Hero MotoCorp) and Bajaj (Bajaj) are naturally jealous of this success of the Chennai company. So the trusty Hero MotoCorp has teamed up with America’s famous cruiser bike maker Harley-Davidson and Britain’s iconic premium motorcycle company Triumph to launch the new model in India this week.

A pair of bikes from Bajaj-Triumph has just been unveiled in the international market. These are – Speed ​​400 and Scrambler 400X. Both are launching in the Indian market on July 5. And Hero-Harley joint venture bike X440 is going to appear in the country today i.e. July 3. Let’s know about the two premium motorcycles.

Triumph Speed ​​400, Scrambler 400X

In terms of design, the Triumph Speed ​​and Scrambler 400X models follow the Speed ​​Twin 900 and Scrambler 900 respectively. Both the motorcycles have a new 398 cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine. From which 40 bhp of power and 37.5 Nm of torque will be produced. A 6-speed gearbox handles the transmission duties.

Triumph’s new bike is built on two tubular steel hybrid spine/perimeter frames. Features on Speed ​​400 and Scrambler 900 include a DAS indicated large analog speed meter with small LCD screen, adjustable traction control, a semi digital instrumentation, dual channel ABS, assist clutch, immobilizer, USB C-charging port and all LED lighting.

Harley-Davidson X440

Harley-Davidson X440 is coming to India as the US company’s cheapest bike. It has a 440 cc, air/oil cooled motor. It is expected to be on par with the Royal Enfield Classic 350 in terms of power. It will come with a tubular steel frame, upside down front fork and twin shock absorber suspension setup.

The production ready model has MRF tyres, so that the bike can give agility even on rough roads. It has round headlights with a DRL bar. Also offered are round indicators, full digital instrument cluster and Bluetooth connectivity.
