The news that Royal Enfield is preparing for the launch of two-wheelers in multiple segments in India is already in the news. They have developed several motorcycles with 350, 450 and even 650 cc engines. One of which is Hunter 650. The upcoming retro-modern bike was recently spotted taking a test ride in front of the company’s factory in Chennai. The production ready model was wrapped in camouflage camouflage.
Royal Enfield will launch the Hunter 650 bike
After the Hunter 350, Royal Enfield is going to bring the Hunter 650. It will maintain the company’s modern design trend. It gets a teardrop shaped fuel tank, circular LED headlamp unit, wide handlebar with bar and mirror, single piece ribbed pattern seat, upswept exhaust and a circular LED taillamp unit. Besides, the bike will appear in semi digital instrument cluster and wire spoke or alloy wheel variants.
The bike will come with dual channel ABS
Royal Enfield Hunter 650 will come with dual channel ABS to prevent sudden braking or skidding on wet roads. Again, disc brakes will be offered on both the wheels to improve the braking performance. Also for the suspension, there will be traditional telescopic front forks and dual gas charged rear shock absorbers.
Talking about the performance, the motorcycle has the same 648 cc, air and oil cooled, parallel twin engine as the company’s other three 650 cc bikes. From which a maximum power of 47hp and 52 Nm of torque will be generated. A 6-speed gearbox can be used to handle the transmission duties.
Royal Enfield Hunter 650: How will it be priced?
The upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 650 is undergoing last minute testing which means the bike is currently in the final stages of development. Royal Enfield will reveal the details of the motorcycle during the launch next year. Estimated to be priced at Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
