The Royal Enfield Gorilla 450 has finally been launched in India. It is the company's second 450cc motorcycle and is built on the new generation Himalayan bike platform. In terms of design, the Gorilla looks very unique and different from other Enfield models. It has a modern retro roadster style. Price starts at Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from the base model, Royal Enfield Gorilla will be available in two more variants namely Dash and Flash. 2.49 lakh and 2.54 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. Buyers will get many color options. The new bike has a 43mm telescopic fork with 140mm travel at the front and a monoshock setup with 150mm travel at the rear. 120/70 and 160/60 section tires with 17 inch oil wheels at front and rear respectively are one of the attractions of this bike.
The Royal Enfield Gorilla 450 bike has ventilated disc brakes on two wheels. Talking about the special features, it gets LED headlights, LED indicators, LED taillights, 4.0-inch round TFT display with smartphone connectivity, full map navigation with Google Maps, media control, dual-channel ABS, USB Type-C port, etc.
The Guerrilla uses the same 452 cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine as the Himalayan 450, which will produce 40.02 PS of power at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine is available with a six-speed gearbox, slipper and assist clutch.
