Royal Enfield, the leading manufacturer of retro motorcycles in India, has announced the launch of a new model on August 30. This is known from the published teaser. Although there is no name of the upcoming bike. It simply states, “The 91-year-old oldest motorcycle brand is still in production. Once again the whole world will be dazzled.” This quote suggests that it is actually the new generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350. The company has been testing it for a long time. Royal Enfield said the new incarnation of the iconic bike will debut at the company’s research and development center in Chennai.

The new generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will come with improved design and new technology. Being built on the ‘J’ platform, it will have the Meteor 350 engine. That 346 cc, single cylinder, air cooled unit will produce 20.2 bhp of power and 27 Nm of torque. There is a five-speed gearbox to handle the responsibility of transmission.
The new Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will be similar to the company’s Meteor 350 in various technical aspects. The Cruiser model has conventional telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The new version of the Bullet will come with dual channel ABS and disc brakes on both wheels. Like the Meteor 350, it is based on the company’s new J-platform.
The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 features circular headlamps, rear view mirror and tail lamps with touches of chrome to exude retro style. There is also a new single piece seat. which will take special care of the rider’s waist. The price of the new Bullet 350 may increase slightly compared to the current model due to the above updates. It is estimated to be around Rs 10,000-12,000.
