Redmi Watch revealed in India as one of the cheapest watch offerings with built-in GPS support. It is the first smartwatch offering from Xiaomi’s sub-brand and it is different from the Redmi Watch that debuted in China. This smartphone is a rebranded version of Mi Watch Lite that debuted Globally in December last year.

Redmi Watch features a 1.4 inches colour touch TFT display with 320 x 320 pixels resolution, 323 PPI, and 480 nits typical brightness. The smartwatch comes with a built-in GPS for precise navigation and there is no need to carry your phone for navigation. The watch is equipped with a 230mah battery and can provide up to 10 days of battery life on a single charge in normal usage and 10 hours when GPS and sports mode is used continuously.
Redmi Watch comes with the support of 11 sport modes including Outdoor running, Treadmill, Outdoor Cycling, Indoor cycling, Freestyle, Walking, Hiking, Trail, running, Pool swimming, Open water swimming, and Cricket. In terms of sensors, the new Redmi smartwatch sports a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, Heart rate sensor, L-Sensor, Compass, and Barometer. The watch also comes with the support of 200+ customizable watch faces.
The smartwatch comes with 24 x 7 heart rate monitoring, Sleep Monitoring, Guided Breathing, Notifications, Weather, Clock, Alarm, Flash, and Music Control. In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 41mm x 35mm x 10.9 mm and 11.9 mm in thickness if the sensor included and weighs 35 grams with strap and 25 grams without the strap. The watch also comes with 5 ATM water resistance and notifications support.
Redmi Watch Price, and Availability
Redmi Watch comes with a price tag of Rs. 5,999 but is selling at a price of Rs. 3,999. The company offered the watch in three color options namely Ivory, Black, and Blue while straps is offered in four color options namely Ivory, Blue, Olive, and Black. The smartwatch will go for sale on 25 May at 12pm Noon on Mi.com, and Flipkart.
