Redmi SonicBass Wireless Earphones & Redmi Earbuds 2C has been announced in India. The SonicBass Wireless Earphones are the first pair of neckband-style audio products from the company whereas Redmi buds 2C is the rebranded version of Redmi AirDots 2 which was debuted back in May in China. Both of the devices come in a single color option – Black.

Redmi SonicBass wireless earphone features 9.2mm drivers and dual-mic configuration for ENC(Environmental Noise Cancellation). It also comes with an inline remote which is used to control various functions such as power on/off, accept/decline calls, play/pause music, mute/unmute calls, launch voice assistant, switch to phone during calls, and switch between two calls. It packs with a 0.44Whr battery that charges via MicroUSB port and the company claims that it lasts up to 12-hour on a single charge.
The neckband earphone also provides dual pairing support through which users can switch between two devices easily. For connectivity, The Redmi SonicBass Wireless Earphones has Bluetooth 5.0 with a maximum range of 10m and supports HFP, A2DP, HSP, and AVRCP Bluetooth profiles. Further, the neckband has flexible structure magnetic buds and weighs 21.2g. The neckband is IPX4-certified for splash and sweat resistance.
Redmi Buds 2C specification
Redmi Buds 2C comes with the 7.2mm drivers and the old school buttons on either bud through which the user can play/pause music, accept/decline calls, access voice assistant, mute/unmute during calls, switch between two calls, and switch from earbuds to the device. For protection, The buds are also IPX4-certified, and weigh is 4.1g each.
Redmi Buds 2C packs with a 43mAh battery and the company claim that It delivers a maximum playback time of 4 hours on a single charge Whereas, the charging case is equipped with a 300mah battery. Users can get up to 12-hour battery backup from the charging case and it charges via MicroUSB port. In terms of connectivity, Redmi Earbuds 2C has Bluetooth 5.0 with a maximum range of 10m.
