Redmi 10 with 50MP quad rear camera, MediaTek Helio G88 chipset Launched: Price, Specifications

Redmi 10 was silently revealed in Malaysia and it is expected to be revealed in other markets soon. Redmi 9 debuted last year in November in the home town and now its successor is announced today. A few days back Xiaomi accidentally posted a blog revealing the detailed specifications.

Redmi 10 Specifications and Features

Redmi 10 features a 6.5 inches LCD display with Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution, and AdaptiveSync refresh rate ( 45Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz ). Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core SoC that comes coupled with Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and an expandable MicroSD card slot.

In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a quad rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth lens. For selfies, the phone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center. The device is running on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top.

The smartphone comes equipped with a 5000mah battery and supports 18W fast charging but the company bundled 22.5W fast charger in the box and 9W reverse charging support. For connectivity, the phone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 2.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, the device comes with dual stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and more.

Redmi 10 Price and Availability

Redmi 10 comes in three configurations including 4GB + 64GB priced at RM649 and 6GB + 128GB for RM749. The phone will be available for purchase from August 20 in Malaysia.

As per the official press release, the pricing for 4GB + 64GB is $179, 4GB + 128GB priced at $199, and 6GB + 128GB for $219. This pricing is might be for Europe or Global Pricing
