Realme under-display camera smartphone teased by Realme’s Vice President and President of Global Marketing Xu Qi. Xu Qi has teased the smartphone on Weibo without any notch on top of the display. This clearly hints that the company is working on under-display camera technology and may launch the smartphone soon.
ZTE, Xiaomi, Realme under-display camera smartphone
It seems that Chinese smartphone manufacturers have been moving to under-display camera technology after providing a pop-up camera technology, punch-hole, and notch module over a long period.
While other companies are developing under-display camera technology ZTE has already launched the world’s first smartphone – ZTE Axon 20 5G with an under-display camera. Smartphone manufacturers like OPPO and Xiaomi are working on the same. Now, it seems that Realme has also joined the list.
However, Realme’s V.P. has not confirmed that the company’s upcoming smartphone is using an in-display camera technology. But going through his comments on the same post he teased the selfies and said there will be no pop-up selfie and this suggests that the smartphone will boast an under-display camera and also report suggests that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 875 SoC.
