Realme Race leaked with Snapdragon 888 5G processor

Realme Race leaked online by foreign media showcases the rear panel of the device. Qualcomm has recently launched the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset but what about Snapdragon 875 is still a mystery. Realme also confirmed the Realme Race smartphone will come with Snapdragon 888 through its UK Twitter Handle.



The company also confirmed that the Race smartphone is gonna be one of the first phones powered by the recently launched Snapdragon 888 flagship-grade 5G chipset from Qualcomm. A reliable tipster Gadgetsdata also shared a patent listing of the phone will also suggest that the smartphone will feature a punch-hole at the top center and there will be no 3.5 mm headphone jack at the bottom only a USB Type-C port and the bottom-firing speaker grill is seen.



The about phone information of the device is leaked that suggests a 12GB RAM variant coupled with 256GB of storage as well. The smartphone has a model number RMX2202 and is running on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top.


The Realme Race leaked rear side image also suggests a circular camera module similar to redmi note 9 pro 5G, redmi K30 ultra, and many other devices. The circular camera module consists of a quad camera setup whose specifications are still not known and also there is a LED Flashlight on the right side of the camera module.


However, the smartphone is expected to launch in January 2021 and it will be priced aggressively to attract buyers. The recently launched Snapdragon 888 real-life performance or benchmarks are still not revealed so it is too early to judge the performance of the chipset.
