For the past few years, various speculations were heard about the launch of the 400 cc Pulsar in the market. Although the name of Bajaj Pulsar 400 has been in the news headlines several times, the launch date has not been confirmed. This time Bajaj Auto has confirmed that. Bajaj has announced the launch of the flagship Pulsar on May 3, 2024. Even what will be the naming, has also been informed. The bike will be marketed as Pulsar NS400.

With ‘NS’ in the name, it is assumed to use the Pulsar NS200’s frame. which is a perimeter frame. There will be up side down front fork and rear monoshock suspension. Both wheels will get disc brakes to handle the braking duties. It might get hardware from Pulsar N250 or NS200.
Talking about the features, the Pulsar NS400 will have a dual channel anti lock braking system with three riding modes – Rain, Road and On/Off. There may be new switch gear to control the digital instrument cluster. Besides, Bluetooth connectivity and USB port will be seen. The new cluster will feature information on fuel consumption, average fuel economy and gear position.
Incidentally, nothing can be said for sure about the engine performance of the Pulsar NS400. The 373 cc engine from the Dominar 400 and the older generation KTM 390 Duke is likely to be used in the Pulsar 400. Again KTM 390 Duke may have the new generation 399 cc engine in this bike.
