PUBG Mobile BAN: 21 Y/O boy commits suicide for inability to play PUBG


A 21 Y/O boy commits suicide from west Bengal after imposed a ban on PUBG by the Indian government. The Indian authorities were recently banned 118 applications including PUBG because of “prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India”.

A 21 Y/O boy commits suicide, he is an ITI student named Pritam Haldar allegedly took his life in West Bengal’s Nadia district because of not being able to play PUBG. According to an India TV report, After completing breakfast on Friday morning, Pritam went into his room. But, when his mother tried to call him for lunch later that day, there was no response and his room was locked from inside. “After repeated banging when he did not open the door, I called the neighbors. They broke in neighbors and found him hanging from the ceiling fan.”


Moreover, the victim’s mother claims that he was frustrated because of his inability to play the game any more. The Police have filed the case as an unnatural death “He would play it at night. I think he died by suicide as he was not being able to play PUBG” she added in her statement.


Recently, PUBG has been removed from both the Play Store and the App Store. As of now, Tencent loses nearly $34 billion dollars after the Indian government imposed a ban on PUBG. It is the second-largest fall since the company lost $66 billion dollars when the USA banned we chat. It is also rumored that the company has reached out to the Indian Authorities on the PUBG ban to solve the issue.
