India’s largest retro motorcycle company Royal Enfield is going to launch a Scrambler model as their fifth 650cc bike. Named Scrambler 650. Recently, the model was seen testing on Indian roads. Presumably, it is ready for production. Let’s know the various details of the bike.
Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 caught
While the Scrambler 650 will be based on the platform of the company’s 650cc super popular motorcycle Interceptor 650, there will be several upgrades. Soon it will be launched in the Indian market. Talking about the hardware, there are 19-inch front and 17-inch spoke wheels at the rear. The new suspension will provide more ground clearance. Hence it is ideal for uphill crossing. The seat design and underseat panel are slightly different.
Like Himalayan 450 it also has LED indicator and monopod unit. This unit will offer various features. Such as Bluetooth connectivity and GPS navigation. However, nothing is known about whether Royal Enfield will offer tubeless spoke wheels on the motorcycle.
Talking about the engine, the Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 has a 648 cc, parallel twin engine like the company’s other 650 cc motorcycles. It will produce a maximum power of 47 bhp and 52 Nm of torque. Expectedly, there may be slight changes in the performance of its engine.
