Poco C40 was announced in Vietnam ahead of the global launch on June 16. It is yet another budget device from Xiaomi’s sub-brand. The new handset comes with a huge battery, JLQ octa-core chipset, large waterdrop notch display, fast charging, dual rear camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and more.

Display
Poco C40 flaunts a 6.71 inches LCD display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1560 pixels ) resolution, 400nits peak brightness, 60Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, and unspecified model of Corning Gorilla glass protection.
Performance
The device is fueled by a JLQ JR10 octa-core chipset which is based on an 11nm fabrication process. It comes paired with Mali G52 GPU and is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The phone also has a MicroSD slot for extra storage. The device is running on Android 11 with MIUI unknown version.
Camera
Coming to optics, the handset features a dual rear camera including a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. The phone sports a 5-megapixel selfie camera under the waterdrop notch.
Battery and Charging
The device is packed with a 6000mah battery and supports 18W fast charging. Although, the company has bundled a 10W charger in the box.
Design
In terms of design, the phone boasts a polycarbonate build and has a similar design to the previous devices at the back. The Poco C40 measures 169.59 x 76.56 x 9.18mm and weighs 204 grams.
Connectivity
For connectivity, the handset includes dual sim 4G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
Poco C40 Price and Availability
Poco C40 comes with a price of VND 3,490,000 for the solo 4GB + 64GB configuration and the company offered the phone in three color options namely black, yellow and green. The device will go for sale on June 17 in the country.
