OPPO A16e was announced in India as the new entry level smartphone. The company recently unveiled two more budget 4G smartphones namely Oppo A76 4G and A96 4G. The device comes with MediaTek entry level octa-core chipset, solo rear camera, waterdrop notch display, big battery, and more.

OPPO A16e flaunts a 6.52 inches LCD display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 269PPI pixel density, 480nits brightness levels, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and 89.27% screen to body ratio. In terms of Camera, the smartphone boasts a solo rear camera that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 80-degree Field of View.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core SoC that comes coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is accompanied by 3GB/4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB/64GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot up to 1TB. For selfies, the phone sports a 5-megapxel front facing camera with f/2.4 aperture under the waterdrop notch.
In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 164 x 75.4 x 7.85 mm and weighs 175 grams. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS, a microUSB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone comes running on Android 11 with Color OS 11.1 skin on top.
