OPPO A16 launched with MediaTek Helio G35 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery in Indonesia. The Chinese tech company added a new device to its A-series portfolio. OPPO A16 runs on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box and comes in Pearl Blue, Space Silver, Crystal Black color variants.

Oppo A16 features a 6.52-inches IPS LCD HD+ (720×1600 pixels) resolution with 88.7 percent screen-to-body ratio, 71 percent NTSC Color Gamut, 269 PPI screen density, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 480 nits of peak brightness, 60Hz standard refresh rate, and a waterdrop notch design. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC and coupled with 3GB LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB eMMC 5.1 storage. In terms of optics, The handset is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 13-Megapixel (primary) camera with f/2.2 aperture + 2-Megapixel (monochrome) sensor with f/2.4 aperture + 2-Megapixel (macro) sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, It comes with an 8-Megapixel selfie shooter.
The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery and supports standard 10W charging technology. For connectivity, It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The sensor onboard includes a Geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, Proximity sensor, accelerometer, Gravity sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 163.8mm x 75.6mm x 8.4mm and weighs 190g.

OPPO A16 comes in a solo version of the 3GB + 32GB storage that is priced at IDR 1,999,000 (around Rs.10,291). It is currently up for sale on Shoppee. However, there is no information about the international availability of the device.
