Oneplus 8T 5G has been launched with Snapdragon 865 SoC, Quad camera setup, and 65W fast charging. The device also has an ultra-thin optical in-display fingerprint scanner, 2 smart amplifiers for stereo sound, and a VoiceExperience software for audio calls of higher sound quality. Oneplus 8T runs on Oxygen OS 11 on top of Android 11 out of the box and comes in Aquamarine Green & lunar silver color options.

Oneplus 8T 5G has a 6.55 inches Fluid AMOLED FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels) resolution display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate. The display also comes with HDR 10+ support and has Display Mate A+ certification. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 865 processor, Adreno 650 GPU, and coupled with up to 12GB of RAM + 256GB of storage. The company also provides Fnatic gaming mode in the smartphone for a seamless gaming experience.
Coming to optics, the smartphone is equipped with a quad rear camera that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and optical image stabilisation + 16-megapixel (ultra-wide) sensor with 123-degree FoV ( Field of View ) and an aperture of f/2.2 + 5-megapixel (macro) sensor with f/2.4 aperture + 2-megapixel (depth) sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. The camera also includes Pro mode, portrait, panorama, nightscape, video nightscape, video bokeh, and more. On the front, the smartphone houses a 16-megapixel punch-hole selfie shooter.
The device packs a 4500mah battery and supports 65W fast charging. The company provides a 65W Charger adapter free in the box. The power brick also supports 45W USB-PD Charging (with USB-C Port) which means the user can charge their iPhones and iPads at Full Fast Charging speeds.
For connectivity, the phone includes a dual sim slot, 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C 3.1. In terms of sensor, Oneplus 8T has an accelerometer, Gyroscope, proximity, ambient light sensor, compass, and an optical under-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of dimensions, The device measures 162.8×75.5×8.4mm thickness and weighs 188g.

The base variant of OnePlus 8T 5G carries a price tag of Rs.42,999 for the 8GB + 128GB storage whereas the high-end variant of 12GB + 256GB costs Rs.45,999. OnePlus 8T will be available for purchase via Amazon and the OnePlus India website starting from October 17. It will also be available on October 16 in an early access sale.
