Chinese automaker NIO has launched its ET5 Touring electric car in the global market. The price of the car in Indian currency is around Rs 34.25 lakh. It is the company’s first all-electric station wagon model. This electric vehicle has been developed with performance and driver convenience in mind. In addition to China, Nee currently sells cars in the markets of Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands and Denmark.
NIO ET5 Touring has been launched in the global market
The NIO ET5 Touring has a spacious five-seater cabin. Its six interior themes are inspired by natural earth tones. Inside, the car features premium glass roof with intelligent dimming function, ventilated front seats with massage function, premium leather upholstery, 4-2-4 split folding type rear seats with 450-litre boot capacity and 256 color ambient lighting.
23 speaker sound system with Dolby Atmos
To keep passengers entertained, the NIO ET5 Touring comes with a 23-speaker surround sound system with a power output of 1,000 watts. It supports Dolby Atmos. In addition, Dirac Pro Sound algorithmic 7.14 surround effect is no less than a high-quality movie theater. Digital instrument cluster and 12.8-inch AMOLED infotainment panel, dashboard integrated ‘NOMI’ robotic assistant present in this car.
990 km range on full charge
For propelling power the NIO ET5 Touring features a dual motor, all-wheel drive setup coupled with a 75 kWh battery. It will produce 475 HP of power and 705 Nm of torque. The company claims that the car will provide a range of 990 km on a full charge.
