Ola Electric launched their first electric motorcycle on Independence Day. The name of this e-bike of the company is Roadster. It comes in three variants namely Roadster X, Roadster and Roadster Pro. The three models differ from each other in terms of price, specifications, and features. The Roadster X model is the cheapest. Prices start at Rs 74,999. Let's know the details of this electric bike.
The Ola Roadster X is available in three battery packs. Each model offers a different riding range and price. The base 2.5kWh variant is priced at Rs 74,999. On the other hand, the 3.5kWh and 4.5kWh battery options are priced at Rs 84,999 and Rs 99,999 respectively. Note that these are all ex-showroom prices. The top-spec model is claimed to run 200 km on a full charge. Top speed is 125 kmph. However, Ola has not revealed the range of the other two battery options of the Roadster X.
The bike has an 11kW electric motor, which will help it accelerate from 0-40 km in 2.8 seconds. Special features include Sport, Normal and Eco riding modes, 4.3-inch LCD cluster, turn-by-turn navigation, cruise control system, advanced regen, tire pressure monitoring system, OTA updates, digital key unlock, and app connectivity.
For suspension, Ola Roadster X bike has telescopic fork and monoshock unit. For braking, one disc brake is present on both the wheels. The top-model will get ABS feature. This electric motorcycle will run on 17 inch alloy wheels.
