Ola Electric’s sales are touching new heights every month. And last month was no exception. At the start of March, the company quickly released sales figures for February. And they have set a record there too. Last month saw 35,000 registrations of the company’s S1 range of electric scooters. Which is the most in a single month till now in the history of any brand in India or even Ola. With this, Ola’s share in the EV two-wheeler market has increased to 42%.
Ola Electric scooter registrations record in February
Ola has witnessed almost double the number of electric scooter registrations compared to February 2023. They crossed 30,000 registrations in December last year and January this year. The company has sold around one lakh e-scooters in these three months.
Currently, Ola sells three different models of electric scooters – S1 X, S1 Air and S1 Pro. Among these, the scooters are available in various trim options to meet the needs of different buyers. Their e-scooter prices start at Rs 79,999. And the most expensive S1 Pro costs Rs 1.3 lakh to buy.
On a full charge, Ola S1 Pro offers a maximum range of 185 km and a top speed of 120 km per hour. Recently Ola is offering a warranty of 8 years or 80 thousand kms (whichever is earlier) on their electric scooters. Again giving a big discount. This is why more and more customers are attracted to buy their e-scooter, said the company.
