Ola Electric always comes with a surprise on Independence Day. Like last year they brought forward four electric bike concepts. And this year on August 15th they will bring out the production version of the electric bike, that is ready to hit the market. Adding to the frenzy, Ola released the official teaser of their first e-bike. Let's see how the Ola electric bike is going to be.
Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Agarwal released a 12-second video teaser from his X (formerly Twitter) profile. Looking at the teaser video, it is not clear what kind of bike Ola will launch. But clearly, it's nothing like the electric motorcycle concepts unveiled last year. The electric bike is going to come as a completely new model.
The front of the bike is shown in the teaser. Twin LED lights can be seen at the front and a long LED strip above it. A large headlamp cowl is visible. But it could also be the windscreen. It is speculated to be a street bike due to its angular tank shroud. The handlebar looks like a single piece and is placed upright.
At the moment, no information regarding the specifications or features of the Ola Electric Motorcycle has surfaced. But it is expected to be a premium model. First premium and then entry level bikes may arrive. We have no choice but to wait till August 15 to know the details of the bike.
