Until now, video, audio status can be shared on WhatsApp with a time limit of only 30 seconds. But now that time limit has been extended up to 1 minute which allows users to share their feelings, moments etc. with their contacts better. WABetaInfo has spotted this update on WhatsApp's Android beta version 2.24.7.6. Hopefully, this feature will be available for all iOS and Android users very soon.

This feature is coming to community groups

But not just status updates, WABetaInfo has learned that WhatsApp is also testing a new feature for community groups, which in the near future will give users the option to set reminders for their events, mainly community admins. That being said, reminders can be set 30 minutes, 2 hours or even 1 day before a scheduled event. This allows members of a community to keep up with events
