The fourth generation Nissan X-Trail entered India today. It has been launched in India at a higher price than the Fortuner. The price has been kept at Rs 49.92 lakh (ex-showroom). This seven seater premium SUV has made a comeback in the Indian market after a decade. It is brought to India by CBU i.e. outside manufacturing. As a result, the cost to buy is also high. Currently, bookings are being made at all Nissan dealerships with a deposit of Rs 1 lakh.
Incidentally, 4.5 million units of Nissan X-Trail were sold in the global market last year. As a result, it made it to the list of five best-selling SUVs worldwide in 2023. Nissan currently has 150 X-Trails ready for delivery to Indians. There are three color options — Diamond Black, Champagne Silver, and Solid White.
