To keep up with the times and stay ahead of the market, the world renowned tech brand Samsung, at its Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event yesterday unveiled a bunch of new products including the latest foldable smartphone model. The company also launched new gadgets in the premium wearable segment named Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, which look similar to Apple AirPods. Moreover, they come with noise cancellation (ANC) feature, IP57 rating and other major upgrades over the previous models.
Features of Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro
Samsung's new Galaxy Buds 3 base earbuds come with an open-type design, while the Pro model has an in-ear design. Meanwhile, the Buds 3 features a one-way 11mm dynamic driver and the Buds 3 Pro model offers a two-way 10.5mm dynamic speaker with a 6.1mm planar. Both the earbuds feature three microphones, a voice pickup unit – and they also support Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) for better calling.
The Pro model again has Ambient Sound Mode and the Voice Detect feature, which can distinguish between normal sounds and human voices, switching to Ambient Mode or reducing the volume if needed. This allows the user to talk without removing the earbuds.
Talking about other features, the new Samsung earbuds support Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, multiple codec support, auto-switch feature, IP55 rating, AI-based features. In this case, the Buds 3 earbuds have a 48 mAh battery, while the case has a 515 mAh battery. It offers 30 hours of battery life with ANC off and up to 24 hours of battery life with ANC on. Similarly, the Pro model has a 53 mAh battery and the case has a 515 mAh battery. This earbud offers 30 hours of backup with ANC off, while with ANC it offers 26 hours of battery life.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro Price, Availability
The new Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 is priced at Tk 14,999, while the Buds 3 Pro model can be purchased at Tk 19,999. These earbuds are launched in silver and white color options. The pre-order process for these has started right now, the open sale will be accessible from July 24.
