The design, hardware and engine of the new Bajaj Pulsar NS160 remain unchanged. As before, a 160.3 single cylinder engine is present to provide the power to move forward. It produces a maximum power of 17.03 bhp and a torque of 14.6 Nm. Mating the motor is a 6-speed gearbox.
Talking about hardware, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 has USD front fork and rear monoshock suspension. Both the wheels have a single disc unit as the braking system. Competing with this bike in the 160cc segment are the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Hero Xtreme 160R.
