Narendra Modi website’s Twitter account hacked by a group called John Wick and tweets posted asking for people to donate cryptocurrency. It was verified by Twitter, and all the tweets posted from the PM Modi account have been removed. This is not the first time when several global leaders’ accounts were hacked, the same incident took place in July too.

PM Modi Twitter account that has 61.8 million followers was not affected but The tweets were posted from the Twitter account used by PM Modi’s official website which has only 2.5 million followers.
As per a report by Gadget 360, A Twitter Spokesperson said “We’re aware of this activity and have taken actions to secure the compromised account. We are actively analyzing the situation. At this time, we are not aware of additional accounts being impacted”.
The same incident took place in July when several Global leaders Twitter account were hacked including former US President Barack Obama, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and media tycoon Mike Bloomberg, along with brands such as Apple and Uber.
The attacker hacked all of these accounts and asking people to donate money in Bitcoin. About 130 accounts were targeted by the hacker in the incident. It was later found that a 17-year-old Florida boy masterminded the hacking of celebrity accounts on Twitter.
