Moto G9 Play Spotted on Geekbench with Qualcomm SoC


Moto G9 Play is probably the successor of Moto G8 Play which launched in October the previous year. G9 Play key specifications have been spotted on Geekbench. This is the first time we are hearing about the Moto G9 Play and the Geekbench listing clearly hints that the company is working to launch it in the future.


Moto G9 Play Confirmation


The Geekbench listing confirmed that the upcoming Phone is powered by the Qualcomm chipset with a base frequency of 1.8GHz which is expected to be Snapdragon 662 chipset according to the reports. The listing further show that the phone might 4GB of RAM. The device will ship with the Android 10 operating system. As per the listing, the Moto G9 Play carries a score of 313 points in the single-core test, and 1370 points in a multi-core test respectively.



Moto G9 Play will also fall under entry-level phones as its predecessor Moto G8 Play. However, Motorola hasn’t confirmed the existence of that smartphone so we can’t say anything more about the phone now.


The Moto G9 Plus was recently spotted on a Spanish online retail site with a price tag of EUR 277.15 (roughly Rs. 23,700) for the 4GB/128GB storage variant. The smartphone was listed online with the model number XT2087 but specifications and other details of the phone were not mentioned on the site.
