Microsoft Surface Pro X2 rumored to be launch on September 30th: reports


Microsoft Surface Pro X2 has been rumored to be launch on September 30. It will be the successor Microsoft Surface Pro X which was debuted last year.

According to reports, A well-known tipster named walking cat posted a tweet in which he revealed the launch date of the device. According to the tipster, Microsoft Surface Pro X2 will launch on Oct 1 or September 30.


In past years, Microsoft has always invited to a new Surface event in October to introduce new models of the Surface tablet and laptop. So, It is expected that the company will continue the Surface event in 2020 as well but due to pandemic, the usual press invitations are no longer applicable. It means that the company will organize an online event this time.


Recently, Microsoft has announced Surface Duo with a foldable design. It features an 8.1” AMOLED panel with 2700×1800 (3:2) aspect ratio but when it is closed it features a 5.6” AMOLED panel with 1800×1350 (4:3) aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor and packed with 3577 dual battery and 18w fast charging support.


The surface duo boasts a single Adaptive 11MP camera with f/2.0, 1.0 µm, PDAF and 84.0° diagonal FOV optimized with AI for front and rear. It comes in two storage configurations, 6GB + 128GB and 6GB + 256GB. The 128GB variant is priced at 1399$ while 256GB variant has a price tag of 1499$
