Microsoft Surface Duo Announced in the US with Dual AMOLED Screens and innovative 360° hinge mechanism. Microsoft says that two screens and apps seamlessly work together with a revolutionary hinge system. Surface Duo comes Microsoft365, together with Android apps.

Microsoft Surface Duo comes with dual AMOLED the apps can either be used on a single screen or on a combined dual screen or two different apps on different screens simultaneously. Surface Duo features an 8.1” AMOLED panel with 2700×1800 (3:2) aspect ratio and has 401 PPI density when it is open but when it is closed it features a 5.6” AMOLED panel with 1800×1350 (4:3) aspect ratio.
In terms of camera, the surface duo boasts a single Adaptive 11MP camera with f/2.0, 1.0 µm, PDAF and 84.0° diagonal FOV optimized with AI for front and rear. Coming to the camera features of the Microsoft Surface Duo it features a Super resolution zoom, and super zoom up to 7x and also Portrait mode with adjustable depth control, Panorama mode and Burst mode. It supports 1080p and 4K video recording at 30 fps and 60 fps abd also it has Gyro-based digital video stabilization.
The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor and packed with 3577 dual battery and 18w fast charging support. For connectivity, the surface duo includes Wi-fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, LTE, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, USB 3.1 and it does not have a micro SD card slot. The Microsoft device has support if an e-sim and a nano sim. The phone measures 145.2 mm (H) x 93.3 mm (W) x 9.9 mm (T at the hinge) when closed and 145.2 mm (H) x 186.9 mm (W) x 4.8 mm (T) when open.
Sensors onboard, Dual Accelerometer, Dual Gyroscope, Dual Magnetometer, Dual Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Hall Sensor, and Fingerprint Sensor. The surface Duo Supports all in market generations of Surface Slim Pen, Surface Pen, and Surface Hub 2 Pen and also simultaneous Pen and touch are supported.
It runs on Android 10 with Microsoft Surface Duo UI core on the top. Microsoft Surface Duo UI core features Dual screen windowing, Adaptive modes, App Groups, Microsoft 365 Feed, Dynamic dock, Universal Search, Adaptive Camera, Microsoft SwiftKey Adaptive Keyboard, Your Phone Companion – Link to Windows.
Surface Duo cones with inbuilt Microsoft apps that includes microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office Lens, PDF Reader, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Team, Microsoft OneDrive, Microsoft Edge,vMicrosoft OneNote, Microsoft To Do, Microsoft News, Microsoft Authenticator, Microsoft Bing Search, Intune Company Portal, LinkedIn, Microsoft Solitaire Collection, Surface Audio.

Microsoft Surface Duo Price and Availability
Microsoft Surface Duo comes in two storage configurations, 6GB + 128GB and 6GB + 256GB. The 128GB variant is priced at 1399$ while 256GB variant has a price tag of 1499$. The dual screen smartphone is available in US to purchase but the company hasn’t revealed the availability in other countries.
