Mi Watch Lite spotted on FCC with GPS and a Squarish Display Design

Mi Watch Lite spotted on FCC listings with model number REDMITW02. As the model number is started with the Redmi prefix so it might come as Xiaomi’s sub-brand branding in some regions. Although the listing suggests that the upcoming Xiaomi Watch will feature a square display design instead of the circular one seen on Mi Watch Revolve or Mi Watch Color.

A reliable tipster Digital Chat Station shared the FCC listings of the smartwatch on Twitter, the listing suggests that Mi Watch Lite features a 1.41 inches square colorful Touchscreen Display with HD resolution. The smartwatch will sport a button on the right side and will come with a silicone strap.


The listing suggests that the smartwatch will boast a Screen Auto Brightness Sensor so that the display will automatically adjust the brightness in bright sunlight or in a darkened room. Mi Watch Lite will comes equipped with GPS for better fitness tracking. and also it will feature 24/7 heart rate monitoring along with inbuilt multiple fitness modes.


As per the FCC listing, the watch will water-resistant up to 50m and has a swimming stroke recognition feature. The Xiaomi mi watch lite will pack a 230mah battery and can be connected to Android devices with Android 4.4 or above and iOS device with iOS version 10 or up.


However, the company hasn’t even confirmed the existence of the smartwatch but the FCC listing did the confirmation that Xiaomi mi watch lite is in development and will debut soon. Although the Mi Watch Lite also approved by UL (Demko) authority a few weeks ago.
