Tata Nexon EV is going to face tough competition. Because MG Motor India has announced the launch date of their next electric car in the country. MG Windsor EV will arrive in India on September 11. The brand claims it to be India's first intelligent crossover utility vehicle. The car will be positioned between the ZS EV and the MG EV.
This car is already available in the international market. But in the outside market, the name is Cloud EV. The company revealed several features in the teaser. Talking about the exterior highlights, the LED light bars at the front and rear come first. It has vertically stacked headlamp cluster with projector headlights, integrated spoiler, flash-fitting door handles.
On the interior, the MG Winzer EV features a two-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, aero-lounge seat with 135 degree recline function, rear AC vent, rear center armrest, large floating touchscreen infotainment system, and ambient lighting.
The car is available in 50.6 kWh and 37.9 kWh battery options in the global market. Single electric motor is present in both the variants. The large battery pack is capable of running up to 460 km (certified range) on a full charge. On the other hand, the lower version has a range of 360 km. Now it remains to be seen whether both the variants will be launched in India.
