The new joint venture between JSW Group and MG Motor India has changed the minds of those who still doubt the potential of electric cars. A concept model named Cyberster has been unveiled by the company. It is an electric supercar. The car made its debut in 2021. But came to India for the first time.
JSW MG Motor India has launched the Cyberster electric sports car in India
It is expected to launch in China and European markets by the end of 2024. The MG Cyberster is based on an entirely new platform, which was also used in the 2027 E-Motion coupe concept. In terms of design, it has sleek LED headlights and DRLs and an air intake at the bottom. At the rear, there are slanted tail lights and a split rear diffuser.
The car has various grooves on the sides and diamond cut alloy wheels. Notable features include instrument cluster with vertically stacked infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with Bluetooth connectivity, inbuilt 5G SIM, connected car tech, wireless charger, dual zone climate control, ventilated seats, multiple drive modes, premium Bose audio system, second Advanced ADAS, multiple airbags and regenerative braking.
The MG Cyberster is available in two battery options. Its 64 kWh battery model will provide a range of 520 km on a full charge. 308 HP power will be generated from the electric motor present in it. On the other hand, 535 HP of power and 725 Nm of torque can be obtained from the electric motor of the model with 77 kWh battery pack. Its maximum range is 580 km. The model is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.
