Maruti Suzuki has confirmed the launch of their new flagship multipurpose vehicle or MPV. It is named – Invicto. Let us inform here that the upcoming model is the rebadged version of Toyota Innova Hycross. However, some variations in its design will be noticed. Maruti Suzuki Invicto is going to be launched in the Indian market on July 5. Booking will start from 19 July.
The Maruti Suzuki Invicto will come with a hybrid powertrain
Maruti Suzuki Invicto will be manufactured at Toyota’s Bidadi plant. Toyota will supply 9,000 to 10,000 units of the Innova Hycross model to the Indo-Japanese company every year. It will be Maruti’s first car to come with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) to avoid accidents. Again, as the company’s second model, strong hybrid powertrain and panoramic sunroof will be offered.
The Maruti Suzuki Invicto will be available with a 184 horsepower 2.0 liter strong hybrid powertrain and a 2.0 liter regular petrol engine. The second powertrain will produce 172 bhp of power and 205 Nm of torque with a CVT automatic gearbox. The mileage of the strong hybrid version and the regular petrol model will be 16.71 kmpl and 23.2 kmpl respectively.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto Design and Features
On the design front, the new Maruti Suzuki Invicto features a chrome-clad front grille, tweaked front bumper, different design alloy wheels, new headlights and taillights. The car will come in either 7 or 8 seats like the Innova Hicross. It will also come with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability program and traction control system.
Notable features on the Maruti Invicto include a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, memory function for the driver’s seat, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, nine-speaker JBL audio system, a 360-degree camera, paddle shifters. etc.
