Make your home a cinema hall, Xiaomi Smart TV X launched with multiple screen sizes

Xiaomi launched its latest smart television series Xiaomi Smart TV X in India today i.e. 1st August in an offline event. The said lineup is rounded off with several other notable products including the Redmi 12 5G smartphone. The new Smart TV lineup comes with a total of 4 display size variants, namely – 43 inches, 50 inches, 55 inches and 65 inches. The specifications of each of these options remain the same. In other words, all the 4 size options have Dolby Vision supported 4K display panel, dual stereo speaker system with 30 Watt output, custom user interface based on Android TV 10, 2 GB RAM and various options including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Now let’s know about Xiaomi Smart TV X series price, availability, and specifications in detail.

Xiaomi Smart TV X Series Price and Availability in India

Xiaomi has launched their new smart television series with a total of 4 display size variants. Below is the price of each option:

Xiaomi Smart TV X 43-inch – Tk 26,999,
Xiaomi Smart TV X 50-inch – Tk 32,999,
Xiaomi Smart TV X 55-inch – Tk 37,499,
Xiaomi Smart TV X 65-inch – Tk 58,999.

Speaking of availability, the Xiaomi Smart TV X series will go on sale from August 4 through the company’s official website (mi.com), e-commerce site Flipkart and Xiaomi’s partner offline retail stores. However, the top-end variant with a 65-inch display size will reportedly be made available for purchase from August 5.

As a launch offer, customers will get a flat Rs 3,000 discount if they pay using an ICICI Bank credit card.

Specifications of Xiaomi Smart TV X series

As we said earlier, the specifications of the four display variants of the Xiaomi Smart TV X series are the same. In this regard, the new Smart TV lineup comes with a 43 / 50 / 55 / 65-inch 4K (3840×2160 pixels) display panel. This display – supports 60 Hz refresh rate, 94% DCPI-P3 wide color gamut, Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG technologies. Again as claimed by Xiaomi, the company’s own Vivid Picture Engine is used in the discussed series to deliver accurate color contrast and sharp image quality.

Xiaomi Smart TV X series is powered by Android TV 10 based Patchwall OS custom user interface. It uses Mali G52 MC1 GPU and quad-core A55 processor. Again 2 GB RAM and 8 GB memory will be available as storage. Talking about the audio department, this new smart television series from Xiaomi branding has a dual stereo speaker system supported by Dolby Audio, DTS-HD and DTS Virtual:X Audio technology. These speakers collectively offer 30 watts of sound output.

Finally, the TVs include connectivity options – Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band WiFi with 2×2 MIMO support, 3 HDMI 2.1 ports, 2 USB Type-A ports, 1 Ethernet port, 3.5mm headphone jack, AV input and 1 audio port.

New Patchwall+ OS launched for all Xiaomi TV series

Along with the launch of the Xiaomi Smart TV X series, the company also announced the launch of a new custom user interface called Patchwall+. Indian users can access a total of 200 live TV channels for free under the mentioned OS version. In this case it is possible to stream these channels on Xiaomi TV using only internet without a set-top box. Xiaomi also said that this latest user interface has been kept more ‘user friendly’.
