Mahindra has announced plans to launch Bolero and Scorpio Electric. The electric versions of the two cars are going to hit the domestic market as Bolero.e and Scorpio.e respectively.

That is why various automobile companies from small to large have started following that path. Electric cars are flooding the market. This year one of the country's automobile brands Mahindra and Mahindra (Mahindra & Mahindra) announced plans to launch the electric version of their popular Bolero and Scorpio cars.
The electric avatars of Mahindra's two upcoming cars will be marketed as Bolero.e and Scorpio.e respectively, said the company's executive director and CEO Rajesh Jejurikar. This is part of the company's target of launching seven new electric vehicles by 2030.
Mahindra Scorpio and Bolero Electric are coming
Mahindra had earlier showcased the Thar.e concept. It is based on the company's INGLO (India Global) skateboard platform. whose code name is P1. This platform will be used for production of electric versions of Bolero and Scorpio. The wheelbase of this P1 platform will be between 2,775 mm and 2,975 mm. Whereas the current generation Bolero and Scorpio have a wheelbase of 2,680 mm and 2,750 mm respectively.
Specifications of Mahindra's Upcoming Electric SUV (Probable)
The front and rear motors used in the Mahindra Thar.e output 109 HP/135 Nm and 286 HP/535 Nm respectively. That means it has all wheel drive technology. According to the company, the vehicle built on this platform will use a 60 kWh or 80 kWh battery pack. These will offer a range of 325 km and 435-450 km respectively. However, the battery specifications of the Bolero.e and Scorpio.e models are not yet known.
