Mahindra launched the facelift version of the XUV300 in India in April, called the XUV 3XO. This SUV has already become quite popular for its segment first features and beautiful design. Launching at Rs 7.49 lakh, the car is getting a lot of bookings. As a result Mahindra XUV 3XO is now a headache for Tata and Maruti Suzuki. Mahindra said the car is getting an average of 20,000 bookings per month.
Competing against Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue, the Mahindra XUV 3XO is getting 20,000 bookings in a month. It counts until July. 55,000 units of the car are yet to be delivered. To your surprise, the sub-compact SUV was claimed to have crossed 50,000 orders within 1 hour of the start of bookings.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO is powered by a 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine that produces 109 bhp. It is available in six speed manual and six speed torque converter options. On the other hand, 115 bhp of power will be available from the 1.5 liter diesel engine. It can be bought with six speed manual and six speed AMT transmission options. The most powerful variant of the car has a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, which produces 129 bhp.
Special features of the Mahindra XUV 3XO include a panoramic sunroof, dual zone climate control, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, segment-first Stage II Advanced Driving Assistance System or ADAS (only available on the high variant), six airbags, ISOFIX mounts, rear disc brakes and Electronic Stability Program, etc.
