Lenovo Thinkpad X1 fold is finally available for pre-order. This is the world’s first foldable screen laptop which was originally revealed by Lenovo at CES 2020 back in January this year. It runs on pre-installed windows 10 out of the box.

The Lenovo Thinkpad X1 fold comes with a 13.3-inch Flexible QXGA (2,048×1,536 pixels) resolution OLED display. The display has a 4:3 aspect ratio, 300 nits of peak brightness, and 95 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. It also supports Dolby Vision for better viewing experience. Under the hood, the foldable screen laptop is powered by Intel 11th-Gen Core i5 tiger lake processor with Intel Hybrid Technology, Intel UHD 11th-Gen graphics, and paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM clocked at 4,267MHz. In terms of storage, It has 1TB PCIe-NVMe M.2 SSD storage.

The ThinkPad X1 Fold packs with a 50Wh battery that can last up to 8.5 hours. Users can charge the laptop via USB Type-C port at 65W and supports rapid charging. For Audio experience, It has the Dolby Atmos speaker system. In terms of connectivity, the laptop includes the support of WiFi 6, WLAN 802.11ax, 5G sub 6GHz with 4G LTE (CAT20) coverage, Bluetooth 5.1, two USB 3.2 Type-C Gen-2 ports, and a SIM card slot. When folded, the ThinkPad X1 Fold measures 158.2×236.0x27.8mm whereas, in its unfolded state, it measures 299.4×236.0x11.5mm. The foldable laptop weighs 999 grams.


Lenovo Thinkpad X1 fold Price


The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold is now up for pre-orders in select regions with sales starting in the coming weeks. The laptop has a starting price of $2,499 (around Rs. 1.84 lakh). The ThinkPad X1 Fold is listed on the company’s Indian website but it is unclear when it will go live on sale.
