Good news for big engine bike lovers Suzuki Motorcycle India (Suzuki Motorcycle India). Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is going to hit the market this month. This adventure tourer bike will hit the market on March 29, 2024 i.e. tomorrow. This model replaces the V-Strom 650 in the international market. This mid-weight adventure motorcycle was unveiled by Suzuki at the ‘India Mobility Global Expo 2024’.
Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is launching tomorrow
The company released a teaser of the upcoming V-Strom 800DE on social media. It has been tested several times before. The new adventure tourer bike is packed with new surprises. Design, performance, features, everything has been updated.
Powering the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is a 776 cc parallel twin, liquid cooled engine. Where previously a 649 cc V-twin motor was used. The current engine will produce 83 bhp of power and 78 Nm of torque. 6-speed gearbox and bi-directional quick shifter to match the speed.
Suzuki V-Strom 800DE comes with USD front fork and remote rear preload adjustable monoshock suspension as hardware. Braking duties will be handled by dual 310mm front discs and single rear disc. The Adventure model comes with dual channel ABS. The front 21 inch and rear 17 inch spoke wheels have 110/80 and 150/70 tubeless tires respectively.
Notable features of the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE include all LED lighting, a 5-inch TFT digital instrument console, multiple riding modes, traction control, etc. After several years in the big bike segment, Suzuki is returning with a new vigor with this new adventure tourer model. It is estimated that the price of the bike may be Rs 10-11 lakh. Its rival models in the market are – Honda XL750 Transalp, BMW F 850 GS, Triumph Tiger 900 and Kawasaki Versys 650.
